He got his university education from the University of Illinois and was employed at PayPal after graduating, meeting the co-founders, Jawed Karim and Chad Hurley. Now, Steve works as the Chief Technology Officer at YouTube. Co-inventor Chad Hurley was born in the year 1977 has a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts received from the University of Pennsylvania and was later employed at PayPal division of eBay. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer. The third partner, Jawed Karim was also employed at PayPal and has an advanced degree from Stanford University.
