Vacation Spots in the U.S.

The United States of America is an ideal place to visit for tourists for its great variety of vacation spots from its 50 different states. These are some of the famous tourists’ spots:

New York Statue of Liberty

  1. Arizona. It has one of the world’s marvelous natural wonders, which is the Grand Canyon National Park. This place has an amazing view of the canyons which is more than 200 miles long and nearly 15 miles wide. If you are to visit only one rim of the canyons, the south should be better compared to the north rim because of its facilities. You should also visit or stay at the Grand Canyon Village because it has great hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops. Try to spend more time at the Grand Canyon so you can do things like go to the basin, see the rims, and even whitewater raft.
  2. Alaska. It is a great place to go to if you are looking for an adventurous outdoor experience. It has a huge stretch of wilderness where you can do hiking, fishing, go to the frozen tundra and climb Mt. Mckinley.
  3. Colorado. One of the well-visited tourist spots here in Colorado is the Royal Gorge Bridge. It is the largest suspension bridge in the world. It is 880 feet long and 188 feet wide and it is 1,053 feet above the Arkansas, Rio Grande, and Denver rivers. The whole bridge is suspended by two 150 feet towers which will give you a fantastic view.
  4. Nevada. Who does not know the famous hotels and casinos of Las Vegas City? Most hotels, such as Luxor, Bellagio, Ceasar’s Palace and MGM Grand Hotel, have its own show to attract visitors. It also possesses beautiful landscapes. Hiker’s favorite places to visit are Mount Charles and Lake Tahoe. Also, the state has many museums and historic attractions like the old mining towns and the famous Eureka.
  5. New York. The most popular vacation spot here is of course the city of New York, which is also known as the city that never sleeps. It has many things to offer in different seasons. During winter, you can go skating in the Central Park. On the other hand, enjoy spring and summer through the multiple parades and by watching the Yankees play at the stadium and the NBA at the Madison Square Garden. The world’s famous Statue of Liberty is also found in New York and it is just a cruise away from the city. Also, who would ever forget the variety of high-end designer shops, which makes it a shopping haven for many?
  6. Washington DC. This is the nation’s capital, which has numerous sights to visit. Many historic landmarks are found here like the White House, the Library of Congress, the Washington Monument, the Capitol, etc. The capital has a lot of national heritages which are kept in museums like the Smithsonian Museum, International Spy Musuem, and many more.
  7. California. One of the biggest states in the U.S. is California that is why the list of vacation spots here is never-ending. Just to give a glimpse, there are Universal Studios Hollywood, Disneyland, Legoland California, Alcatraz Island, Golden Gate Bridge, etc., etc., etc. A less explored but a must-be visited town in this state is the Carmel by the Sea. You can do a lot of shopping and go to its marvelous beach as well.
